Drove to the Margaree Valley where the Autumn is unbelievable with color, in the Sun. Unfortunately the Sun Chose not to come out the week I was there. Caught a Grilse in some shrubs in the middle of the ever rising river and had to release him in the shrubs as we were both stuck.Rain and high water from the day I arrived, OH!, the people leaving the next day had great stories and pics of the numerous Atlantic Salmon they caught, all I caught was cold and some kind of rash from a spider bite.

That too bad greg, anyone who salmon fishes has experienced bad conditions that hurts the fishing but at least you got a great pic lol!
WOW – the atlantics really stuck it to you this season – kinda like my experiences with the albies. i like your style though – no need to fluf it up with all that nonsense about .. “it was still fun even though we didn’t see or hook any fish.” or “the weather was beautiful” or “just being in margaree was wonderful, it didn’t matter that we didn’t hook any atlantics” – i much prefer the truth.
although the spider bite is just down right cruel.
Greg the photo tells me one thing, you needed coffee to push through the rising water. I Talked to a friend of mine who arrived yesterday from the margeree and he tells me he didnt do to good,
