Well you had to know it was coming. I have been Jonesing to do some steelhead fly fishing on the west coast, wishing for warmer weather and eager for some saltwater fly fishing in Mexico. Needless to say, I have been waiting for winter to wane. After seeing some of the recent reflection articles and videos I also started to review fly fishing memories from days past. So many good times with new friends and old friends. This is the very thing that makes the sport of fly fishing what it is and happens to be the same thing that makes the Flies And Fins sites what they are. Fly fishing adventures in the wild chasing all sorts of fish and shared the experience with good friends on and off line. Looking back on the fly fishing trips we have made has really got me excited about this coming fly fishing season. Alaska, Mexico, BC, the North East, the North West, the Rocky Mountains etc. It is really nice to revisit these places as I plan out the coming year. I can not wait to get out and hit the rivers and oceans with the Flies and Fins crew again this year.

Nice vid Curry. Those are some killer fish to look back on. Looking forward to another good year. I liked the departing shot….no pun intended.
Jason, Enjoyed the video…sometimes I think it is more about traveling to the places where these fish reside, than it is about the fish themselves. Very refreshing.
I’d say you had your fare share of good memories. It would be cool to fish a few days with you sometime…let me know when you want to come down.
jason — awesome stuff man … last time i came out to fish with you was western usa trout … i look forward to mexico west and getting a shot at a rooster fish like that! … or bc … or alaska …. too many great choices to choose from .. they are all sweet out there … look forward to fishing with you at all of them at some point in our lives … nice work on the video.
